Equipping Those Who Disciple The Next Generation

Equipping Those Who Disciple The Next Generation

For the last five years, we have been bringing our kids’ and youth ministry team together once a year to encourage them and offer some big picture training. What started as ‘let’s bring our local Adelaide team together’ has grown into something so much more.

The Trinity Network Kids’ and Youth Ministry Training Day now has trainers coming from interstate, local ministry experts, and a stack of our own team, and brings everyone together to be encouraged and equipped as we seek to disciple our young people to know and love Jesus.

I would love to encourage you to come along to this wonderful day. It is open to everyone. Maybe you are thinking about getting involved in kids’ ministry or youth ministry. Maybe you are involved in other places and think this would be a great day to attend. Maybe you have young people in your life, where some of this training would benefit you as you care for those in your family. Everyone is welcome!

Two years ago, we outgrew our site at 88 North Terrace, and last year this event moved to Temple Christian College, so we could cater for many more people to be trained. Furthermore, an anonymous generous sponsor came on board, willing to pay for a high percentage of everyone’s tickets so that as many people as possible could come to this day.

This year, on Saturday 8 August, at Temple Christian College, we have 17 seminars on offer for anyone interested in what it means to disciple young people. We have specialists coming who are involved with ministry to children under 5, creative ministries, kids’ and youth ministry, school ministry, and safe ministry practices.

It’s also a fully catered event, with all food, tea and coffee being provided by West Oak Hotel.

You can watch a video here with some of the trainers speaking about their seminars.

You can see the full list of seminars in session one and session two to see what you might like to hear.

I would love to see you there, so please register as soon as possible (no later than Tuesday 4 August, 10am for the sake of our caterers).

If you have any questions, please contact me at stephen.urmston@trinity.church.

We pray this will be a wonderful day for all, and I really encourage you to come, as it continues to be a highlight of my year.
