The Trinity Network is a family of churches committed to taking the gospel to others. But while the gospel is unchanging, we are an agile Network that is constantly seeking to work out how we can be more effective in taking that life-changing good news to others.
Right now, several of our churches are ‘on the move’. We can sometimes view change through the lens of ‘inconvenience’. But consistently throughout the Bible, we see God at work in life-changing circumstances to glorify His name. In Acts 8, we read about a great persecution of believers in Jerusalem and how disciples scattered to various regions. In God’s providence, this was the way He enabled the gospel to spread to others.
Of course, our circumstances in Adelaide are very different, but we can be confident that in the midst of change, God will go before us in the same way and open new doors for the gospel.
1. Trinity Church Adelaide is moving, but not very far!
Trinity Church Adelaide has been meeting in the oldest church building in Adelaide for 188 years. This coming Sunday, May 3rd, marks the last gatherings on the site for two years. This has been triggered by the site development, which will see a 1,000-bed student accommodation erected on the car park site to the rear of the church and new facilities created for ongoing ministry on North Terrace.
These changes are so we can make disciples. New facilities will better support ministry, and the student accommodation will create fresh evangelistic opportunities. For the next two years, the church will be meeting in nearby rented facilities.
You may have connections to Trinity Church Adelaide and would like to come along to one of the final services this Sunday at 9am, 10:45am, or 6pm. Perhaps you know of others who would appreciate an invitation.
There is also a wonderful ‘Open House’ afternoon planned on the site from 12:30pm to 4pm. There will be lots of photos and historical artefacts to check out, the church will be open for self-guided tours, there will be activities for the kids, and so much more! You can read about all the details here.
Please pray for the members of Trinity Church Adelaide that this next season of ministry will be a rich period of gospel outreach.
Please note, whilst Trinity Church Adelaide will cease live streaming their services for the time being, you can see live streamed services for Trinity Church Victor Harbor and Trinity Church Morphett Vale. Trinity Church Adelaide will continue to provide audio recordings of their sermons in the week following each Sunday.

2. Trinity Church Woodcroft is now Trinity Church Morphett Vale
Two weeks ago, the Trinity Church meeting at Woodcroft College relocated to Wirreander Secondary School in Morphett Vale. The last two Sundays have given the congregation a chance to get familiar with the new facilities. This coming Sunday, May 3rd, is a big invitational launch event.
Over the last two weeks, there have been quite a few newcomers. But this Sunday, the church members are making an all-out effort to invite lots of neighbours and friends. Possibly you have friends or family in the area, and would like to invite them along. Click here for an invitation you can send to them. Alternatively, it might be better to head along this Sunday with them!
Be praying for the Trinity Church Morphett Vale pastor, Colin Taylor, the Leadership Team and the congregation as they adjust to new facilities and make the most of these fresh opportunities.

3. Trinity Church Holden Hill
The four Trinity Churches to the North of the city have partnered together to start a new church with the specific goal of reaching the next generation (18-25 year olds). They launched on Sunday, March 22nd, and have seen around 80 people attending each week. Lots of friends have been invited and are exploring who Jesus is!
Keep praying for the pastor of Trinity Church Holden Hill (‘Night Church’), Dave Harrington, the Leadership Team and this new congregation as they set themselves to evangelise and disciple the next generation.

In Acts 12, in the context of God’s people being persecuted, we read these telling words:
But the word of God increased and multiplied.
Acts 12:24
Let’s pray that, in the midst of all the movements of people and changes around the Network, God will cause His work to increase and multiply for His glory and honour.
