Partners In Mission: Carrying The Gospel Further Together

Partners In Mission: Carrying The Gospel Further Together

The good news of Jesus is bearing fruit in more places than we often see. Across the Trinity Network, we’ve been blessed to walk alongside several gospel-minded organisations serving in contexts far beyond our own. These partnerships help us look beyond our own congregations and celebrate the wider work of His kingdom – whether across Australia or around the world.

Here’s a glimpse into what some of our ministry partners are doing this season, and how we can keep supporting them in prayer, generosity and encouragement.

Bible College of South Australia (BCSA)

BCSA exists to equip men and women for gospel ministry – through deep theological training shaped by Scripture, community and a heart for mission. Many of their graduates go on to serve in churches and ministries across South Australia and beyond.

After a strong first semester, students and faculty are now on mid-year break. Classes will resume in July with new students joining, and the College is giving thanks for the provision of a new Office Manager, Cat Anderson. They’re also deeply grateful for those who supported their end-of-financial-year appeal during May and June.

Coming up:

  • Open Day – Saturday 11 October, from 9:30am

Please pray for students as they rest and prepare for the new semester, for the ongoing work of faculty and staff, and for continued financial provision as the College trains future gospel workers.

Bush Church Aid (BCA)

BCA supports gospel ministry in regional, rural and remote parts of Australia – places where Christian community can be small and scattered, but where the need is great. Through long-term partnerships, BCA sends and supports workers who share the hope of Jesus in areas where it might not otherwise be heard.

This spring, David and Margy Williams will begin ministry in the Anglican Parish of West Coast Tasmania, and in October, Pat and Issy O’Keeffe will move to Katherine in the Northern Territory. Both couples bring experience, conviction and a deep desire to see lives transformed by Christ in the bush.

Coming up:

  • BCA Connect Week – 24-28 August
Gatherings in Fleurieu, Adelaide City, South Coast and North East

Please pray for David & Margy and Pat & Issy as they prepare, settle and begin ministry. Pray too for more workers to be raised up, and for supporters who will stand with them in prayer, encouragement and giving – so that Christ is made known in every corner of Australia.

CMS (Church Missionary Society)

CMS is a fellowship of Christian people and churches committed to global mission. They support and send long-term cross-cultural workers so that people around the world might hear the gospel of Jesus and come to know Him.

This July, Malcolm and Ainsley Purdey will return from Chile for a six-month home assignment (a season to rest, report and reconnect with supporting churches), and D & T are expected back from Asia later in the year. It’s always encouraging to hear from missionaries in person and to be reminded that God is at work in every part of the world.

Coming up:

Please pray that God would raise up many faithful gospel partners who will pray, care, give and go – so that more people might come to know Christ.

AFES (Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students)

AFES supports Christian student groups on university campuses across Australia, helping students know Jesus, grow in faith and be equipped for a lifetime of gospel service. ES groups meet on different campuses each week to read the Bible, pray, share the gospel and build Christian community during the university years.

One of the highlights of the year is Mid Year Conference (MYC) – a chance for students to step away from campus and spend several days in God’s word, in fellowship and in practical training.

Coming up:

Please pray that students would grow in conviction and clarity as they listen to God’s word, that many would come to know Jesus, and that staff and student leaders would be sustained as they serve.

These are just some of the ministries we’re grateful to walk alongside across the Trinity Network. They remind us that God’s mission stretches far and wide – and that through prayer, generosity and practical support, we can play a part in gospel work well beyond our own context.

If something here stayed with you, take a moment to pray, share it with someone, or consider giving or attending an upcoming event. Many of these partners depend on regular support to keep going – and even small contributions make a real difference. Together, we can help carry the good news of Jesus into places we may never go, but still deeply care about.
